"Great tabs, just a little fiddly now and then"
The tabs work really well overall, and I’ve been happy using them. The notation can be a bit fiddly sometimes, though, so I have to slow down and double-check what I’m doing. Not a huge deal, honestly. Kind of reminds me of trying to follow a recipe where one step is worded just weird enough that you reread it three times before realizing it’s simple. Still, it does the job nicely and I’d keep using it.

"Handy for practice on the go"
I use Guitar Pro on my phone mainly for pulling up tabs and practicing when I’m not near my computer. It works well for that and makes it easy to keep songs with me wherever I am. Editing parts can be a bit fiddly on the small screen, so I usually save bigger changes for later, but for learning and quick practice it’s really useful.

"Every new update seems to make things..."
Every new update seems to make things more frustrating instead of better. My older files keep acting up after version changes, and it’s getting really annoying :(

"Good overall, but struggles with bigger tabs"
I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and most days it works just fine for what I need. The only issue I’ve noticed is that whenever I load bigger tabs, it tends to freeze up. It doesn’t happen every single time, but it’s happened enough over the past week or so that it’s a bit annoying

"The help pages made it pretty..."

"Pretty easy to use, just caught me at a bad time"
Guitar Pro has been simple to use overall, and I was able to find most of the tabs I needed quickly. It did take me a bit to figure out some of the tools, but I think that was partly just bad timing on my end since I was trying to learn it when I was already busy. Once I got the hang of it, it worked well.

"I’ve been using this for working on..."
I’ve been using this for working on guitar tabs, and overall it’s been good. Managing tracks is simple, and being able to mute or solo parts while I’m figuring out a song is really handy. The mixer is mostly smooth and easy to read, which definitely saves me some time. That said, switching between certain track settings can feel a little awkward now and then. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does slow the flow a bit. Still, I’d say it’s a solid tool with a few small annoyances.

"Guitar Pro is fine when I’m working with..."
Guitar Pro is fine when I’m working with files made in the program, but the second I try importing older tabs or exporting to another format, things start getting messy. Notes move around, drum parts come in looking strange, and then I’m stuck doing a bunch of cleanup by hand. It’s annoying because it turns what should be a quick task into extra work I really don’t want to deal with.

"Helps me pick up songs faster"
I’ve been using this to learn guitar songs, and it’s made the process a lot easier. Finding tabs is simple, and the forum tips have helped me more than I expected. It’s not perfect every single time, but when I had a question, support basically replied with something like, “Check the forum thread and try the alternate tab version,” which actually pointed me in the right direction. Overall, it’s been really useful for learning songs quicker.

"Works fine, but the login stuff gets old fast"
Guitar Pro is decent most of the time, but the cloud sync can take longer than I’d like, and randomly having to log in again is annoying. The account settings also feel a little all over the place. It’s not a dealbreaker, but when I’m just trying to jump in and practice, I really don’t want to waste time dealing with that

"Worked well after a quick setup"
I set this MIDI keyboard up the same day it arrived, and it was straightforward to get going. After using it for a little while, I noticed there’s a small bit of lag sometimes, but overall it worked good for what I needed

"Missing Tabs Made This a Waste of Time"
I went in expecting to find the tabs I needed, but they were just missing. I spent time clicking around trying to figure out if I was overlooking something, but nope. Make it make sense. it ended up feeling like a waste of time

"Actually Helpful for Practicing"
I was a little worried Guitar Pro might be one of those apps that looks useful but ends up being kind of a gimmick, but it’s been really solid for me. I mostly use it to slow down tabs and loop the tricky parts over and over, which makes practicing way less frustrating. I don’t feel like I’m getting lost as much. The chord tools and backing tracks are also super handy, more than I expected.

"Wish the settings gave you more control"
Guitar Pro is fine for basic tabs, honestly. It does the job. But once I started trying to tweak things the way I like them, it felt limited. I wanted more control over the layout, the sounds, even little display settings, and a lot of it just seems locked into how they designed it. It’s not awful or anything, just kind of frustrating for how I use it.

"Setup drained more energy than I expected"
I bought it from guitar-pro.com and the download itself was totally fine, but the install process ended up being way more annoying than it needed to be. The installer took forever, then I had to restart before the program would even open properly, which just felt like wasted energy before I’d even used it.

Activation was also a pain because it kept asking me to log in again like it didn’t know what was going on. It works now, but my first hour with it was spent troubleshooting instead of actually playing, and that’s not exactly a great first impression.

"Way better than I expected"
I mainly use Guitar Pro to learn songs, the playback sound surprised me in a good way. Like, am I the only one who expected it to sound way more fake? The guitars and drums actually feel decent compared to a lot of tab sites I’ve used. It makes it so much easier to catch the timing and little parts I’d probably miss otherwise. It’s not perfect every single time, but for practicing at home, it’s been really helpful. I’m happy with it.

"Felt Like I Was on My Own"
I kept waiting for someone to step in and actually help, but it never really happened. Reading between the lines, it felt like nobody wanted to take responsibility or deal with the issue. I ended up feeling ignored and like I had to figure everything out myself

"I mostly use Guitar Pro for..."
I mostly use Guitar Pro for printing tabs and chord sheets. Nothing too fancy. Just need stuff to look clean on paper, and for that it does a good job.

The layout tools are solid. I like being able to drag things around and tweak the page before I print. Print preview is usually accurate too, which saves me from wasting paper. Margins, page breaks, all that stuff. Sometimes takes a bit of fiddling.

Only thing is the layout settings could be easier to find. I still have to poke around more than I’d like. Not a huge deal though. It works, it prints well, and it does what I need.

"Old tabs still open, no stupid hassle"
I’ve been using Guitar Pro for years, and all my old tabs still open just fine. No drama, no dumb converter nonsense, and I don’t have to redo anything like some poor idiot stuck in 2008. Works great for me.

"Pretty handy for sharing tabs with the band"
I’ve been using Collab to send tabs back and forth with my bandmates, and overall it works well. I like that everyone can get on the same page without me having to text screenshots or messy notes. The only thing I notice is the sharing can feel a little slow sometimes, especially when I’m trying to send a small change like one chord in the bridge or a tiny timing tweak. Not a huge deal, but it’s the kind of thing I notice when we’re rehearsing and trying to move fast.
